Instead of crawling into bed at 4am after a heavy night of partying, this weekend I found myself crawling out of bed to do the 4am feeding (which came after the 12am and 2am one) and then waking up for the 6am. Needless to say, after keeping up with this routine for almost a month already... I'm exhausted!
We did manage to try a new spot for a crepe lunch, make a trip to Target and savour a 4hr nap while my mom took Zoey for an extra extra long walk.

What did you do this weekend? Tell me something fun!
Aah...the life of a new Mom :-) so glad your Mom is there to help out...
ReplyDeletehey that's a very accomplished and busy weekend for a new Mom! Those crepes look amazing! I actually had a pretty eventful weekend as I went to pick up my new car in Bloem, tried to learn to drive manual, and bought a Mackbook Pro, which I'm still getting used too. It was very productive to say the least :)

Good job! You motivate me to stop complaining when I am unjustly tired! Mmmmmm crepes!
ReplyDeleteIm in the same boat your in love! My little girl is 9 weeks old and is just starting to be awake for longer periods of time but loves eat on a schedule. Isn't being a mommy the most wonderful thing in the world?
ReplyDeleteah! Hang in there! You're doing great :) Crêpes look yum! I did a Photo Scavenger Hunt at Monte Casino and went shopping for fishnets as I'm going to Madame Zingara's! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI didn't do anything much FUN, but I do feel accomplished! I hung shelves in MY Zoey's room (August, here we come!) and my hubs and I shampooed all of the carpet in the house. I also set up my new craft room. Yeah!
ReplyDeleteThose crepes look scrumptious! Thank goodness for awesome mothers who have been through it all already right? Good luck with the sleeping pattern!
ReplyDeleteI got drunk on a Sunday. Never a good idea.
Those look so good! I've never had crepes. I bet it's wonderful to have your mother around during this time. Oh, and I spent my weekend with a little one too. Just reminded me why I respect mothers so much, because I definitely couldn't do it. :)
